How to scan event tickets

Summary:

This is a guide on how to scan tickets for an event. To start scanning tickets, the organizer needs to give you access through the Ticket Pulse Dashboard. When the organizer invited you, you will recieve an email with the link to the App Store and Play Store link. When you downloaded the app and logged in or registered, follow the guide below:

 

Step 1:

Click on the menu button in the top-left area of your screen and click on My Profile.

 

Step 2:

If you have access to any upcoming event, you will see the button "Scan tickets for events". Click on this button to see the list of events you have access to.

 

Step 3:

Click on the event you want to scan tickets for.

 

Step 4:

On this page you can view event details, the namelist and the status of every ticket. To start scanning tickets, click on the 3 dots in the top-right of your screen and click on Check in or Check out. Check in is meant to be used for the beginning of a event, like when a user gets on the bus and check out is for the end of the event.

 

Step 5:

You can now start to scan tickets for the selected event. Scan the QR-Code provided by the customer and view the response on your screen. There are multiple possible outcomes:

 

Ticket scanned: A green screen with a white check sign

Ticket is for another event: Ticket isn't for this event, not valid

Ticket already checked in/out: Means you or an other scanner, scanned the ticket already

Ticket not personalized: The customer needs to personalize the ticket
